If you’ve followed bridal trends over the past couple of years, you’ve no doubt noticed that gray is the new black. Seriously! Smoky, sultry gray is THE go-to neutral as of late, and some of our favorite grays come from one of our favorite designers: Alfred Sung. Enter Alfred Sung D462 and Alfred Sung D458. Your ladies will love gorgeous gunmetal colored bridal party gowns! These styles are available in a couple different shades of gray, depending on which fabric you choose (more on that below). D458 is available in Quarry, a lovely medium gray, and D462 is available in Ebony, which is, in our opinion, the perfect deep charcoal shade. Grays are fabulous when paired with a multitude of other accent colors. Choose a palette of gray, pale pink, and white for a modern romantic look, or opt for a bold burnt orange or mustard yellow for a more playful option. Find your perfect bridesmaid gown.>> Keep it soft and sophisticated with one shoulder gunmetal colored bridal party gowns We love this style. Alfred Sung is known for his retro-inspired creations and this is no exception, with its nipped-in waist and its full skirt. Lest you worry about looking too retro, the one-shoulder neckline keeps this look modern and sophisticated, with ample coverage (perfect if you have ‘maids of varying bustlines). Alfred Sung D462 or Alfred Sung D458? The difference is in the fabric! Ok, you might be confused as to why these two styles are different. D462 is made of dupioni, a textured silky fabric, and D458 is made of peau de soie, which has a smooth, iridescent, almost taffeta-like texture and sheen. It really just depends on which fabric and color you like best! What do you think? Will your favorite ladies be donning gray on your big day?
