You might be wondering, “What’s a sample? And what the heck are sample sales?” A bridal gown or bridesmaid dress “sample” is a gown in a specific style and size that is available to try on in-store. Most bridal stores only order each style in one or two sizes, because brides and bridesmaids typically try on the sample sizes in-store and then place a special order with the manufacturer for their own gown. Typical size sample wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses are 6, 8, 10, and 12. However, we also have one of the best selections of plus size bridal dresses in Minnesota, and currently have tons of great samples in sizes 14-28. So even if you aren’t sure about how you’ll fit in typical size sample wedding dresses, don’t worry! You’re sure to find something beautiful.
