Wedding Shoppe, Inc. Loves Bridal Gowns with Pockets!

It’s no secret that trends in bridal gowns come and go. And, while some trends are totally fabulous for years to come, others are—shall we say—not so much. However, designers seem to be taking their cues from the classics as of late. One of the trends of the past few years of which we cannot get enough? Pockets, of course! You might be wondering, “Why are pockets less trendy than any other trend?” The great thing about pockets lies in their subtlety. Unlike poofy sleeves or giant oversized headpieces (remember the 80s?), pockets are not the first thing your guests will notice when you make your big entrance. The trend will not overshadow the beautiful bride wearing it. In fact, most people probably will not even notice that your dress has pockets unless you show them. So, if you want to be a trendsetter without being distracting, consider one of these bridal gowns with pockets. You won't be disappointed! Check out all of our amazing bridal gown styles!>>

We have handpicked a few of our favorite ball gown wedding dresses with pockets and strapless wedding dresses with pockets. Silhouettes with fuller skirts, such as ball gowns or A-line skirts, tend to accommodate pockets best, as they get lost within the gathers of the skirt, and don't add any extra bulk like they would on a slimmer silhouette. Not having pockets on my dress wasn’t necessarily a deal breaker when I went to my appointment, but after trying a couple on with pockets I knew I’d end up with them! I got WTOO’s Mimi dress and absolutely in love with it! My Jr. Bridesmaid also has pockets on her dress :)
