The Wedding Shoppe has called St. Paul home for over 40 years and one of our favorite things is a gorgeous wedding in our own backyard! Katie and Alex took advantage of the two great Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul for their special day. Katie and her ladies got ready in the gorgeous  Minneapolis Marriott City Center before heading to The House of Hope Presbyterian Church in St. Paul for the beautiful traditional church ceremony. The bridesmaids wore mismatched Kennedy Blue bridesmaid dresses in Violet, which perfectly complemented the stunning purple bouquets and decor.  Katie and Alex had an adorable first look outside the church and took a stroll down historic Summit Avenue together. After saying their "I Do's", they headed to the St. Paul College Club for the reception that featured yard games and a dreamy outdoor patio! Between the historic mansion venue and the modern pops of purple, we think this city wedding is the perfect blend of old and new! Katie's dress even combined classic lace elements with whimsical sparkle, which fit perfectly with the theme of the day.
