Happy Winter Wedding Wednesday, everyone! We're going to show you some gorgeous winter wedding gowns today. We’re closing almost done with this series (only one more week left!) with a few more winter wedding ideas and eye candy, thanks to the Da Vinci bridesmaid dresses and bridal gowns we are featuring today. For the best winter wedding ideas, see some experts and winters and weddings: Wedding Shoppe, Inc.! Minnesota is known for its intense winters, so it’s no surprise that winter here is considered the wedding off-season. I am a huge fan of off-season weddings, for one very important reason: Budget. You can usually get great deals on vendors because you’re not getting married during peak wedding season, which means your budget goes a lot farther. What bride doesn’t appreciate that? Winter wedding gowns from Da Vinci bridals: Ok, now that I’ve made my case for winter wedding ideas, let’s get to the goods! Here are a few of my favorite winter wedding gowns. I love lace, and I think it’s so perfect for a winter wedding, which probably explains why I love Da Vinci 50144 and Da Vinci 8416. Wouldn’t they be pretty against a blanket of freshly fallen snow? Shop all of our amazing designer wedding gowns!>> Da Vinci bridesmaid dresses: I love Da Vinci 9325, mostly because it’s different. The unique, modern neckline is unlike anything I’ve seen for bridesmaids recently, but the classic A-line skirt is super flattering for your girls, so you get the best of both worlds. A weightier fabric like taffeta or satin is great for a winter wedding, since it not only gives the dress more structure, but also provides a bit more warmth than chiffon or organza. Another trend I love for winter weddings is patterned tights! How cute would it be if each of your girls wore a fun pair of coordinating tights under her dress? Think of the photo ops! We hope you’ve enjoyed our Winter Wedding Wednesdays so far. Remember, we’re always cooking up new ideas here at the Wedding Shoppe, so stay tuned—you never know what we’ll come up with next!
