When one of our own ties the knot, it’s a big moment for the entire Wedding Shoppe family. Many members of our team are now engaged and planning their big days, so I thought it was time to share their memories in a revamped real wedding blog. The opportunity to share real wedding pictures and stories is open to any of our Wedding Shoppe customers, too! If you want to be featured on our real wedding blog, send an email to

Whimsy and Romance: Real wedding pictures that radiate fun.
Liz is a cherished member of our Merchandising Team, so it’s no wonder her bridal style was stunning. She wore Enzoani’s Dakota: an all lace look with a fit-and-flare silhouette and modified sweetheart neckline. The gown, along with her taffeta
Kennedy Blue bridesmaid dresses, made a style combo perfect for her chic wedding. When I asked her what three words best described her big day, she said, "Elegant, romantic, and traditional." I’d also throw in fun, but that’s my personal opinion. Do you notice that she’s smiling or laughing in almost every photo? There’s nothing more beautiful than a bride who radiates pure joy like she did. You’ll see the unconditional love Liz has for Travis by looking at the next few captured memories!
Liz wore Lacie by Badgley Mischka.
Amazing shots by Brio Art Photography at the Mill City Ruins Park.
The boys looked dashing in their Kennedy Blue ties (KB3509 and KB0730) which complemented the dresses perfectly.
The ladies wore Kennedy Blue bridesmaid dresses. Liz chose Lauren and Claire in taffeta.

A word from the bride.
The day Travis and I were married is, and always will be, one of the most treasured days of our lives! Being surrounded by all the beautiful and supportive people that we love and hold so close to our hearts is something indescribable. The day itself could not have been more perfect, and it still feels like a dream! A few of my especially favorite moments from the day were getting “beautified” with my amazing bridal party in the morning, the magical first look Travis and I shared in private, my father “nervously” walking me down the aisle as we had to descend a giant staircase, and of course our first dance as husband and wife. Looking back, there are so many moments and wonderful people that contributed to our amazing day and we are forever thankful! If I did do it all over again, which I totally would, I would remember to relax and completely enjoy all the crazy planning and stressful moments that all led up to that unforgettable day. Those sixteen months of planning completely flew by, as well as the wedding day itself, and taking in each moment throughout the entire process is what builds the unforgettable memories of how we got to be Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman! Other than the Wedding Shoppe, the bride and groom enjoyed working with the following wedding vendors:
