Please join us in building support for Tanya & her family. The Wedding Shoppe Inc. community is here for you Tanya, your family, and husband to be.  You're a strong young woman and we know you can get through anything. Each bride faces struggle in her life. However, you never imagine that you will be faced with a life-changing event three and a half months before your wedding day. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma slightly over three months before my wedding date.  To think just a month ago I was writing a blog about finding the proper hairstyle for my wedding date, and now I’m deciding what to do with my wig.  At this point, I have not lost any of my hair and I have had one chemotherapy treatment. Overcoming road blocks is never easy, but with the help and support of all my friends and family, it has been a lot easier.

Knowing I would still be in treatment on our original wedding date, we decided to move our wedding to August 27^th.  It was a tough decision but it was the right thing to do.  When we originally picked the date, we didn’t pick it for any particular reason at all.  All we wanted was to be together, and we are willing to wait an additional two months so I am able to fully enjoy our wedding day and honeymoon.

Each and every bride will have tough decisions to make, whether it be which shoes to wear, where to spend the honeymoon, or what the centerpieces will look like.  Just know that you will get through it--have patience and let others help, and remember to pamper yourself.  Massages are always great (Keep In Touch Massage is a favorite of mine). Just remember to take time for yourself each and every day.
