Monarch Train

The monarch train is the longest train style, and is only seen in the most formal wedding ceremonies. (Also known as the "Extended Cathedral Train "Grand Cathedral Train," & "Royal Cathedral Train")

A monarch train extends 9 feet or more behind the gown (measured from the back of the waist), cascading endlessly behind the bride, creating an abundance of drama.

With its great length, it has become quite uncommon to see a dress with a monarch train. They are, however, still seen at the most formal wedding ceremonies, particularly royal weddings.
