Are you dreading going shopping for a bridal gown? Maybe you are uncomfortable in a skirt, or ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ just isn’t your style. Do you want a look that is less ‘Cinderella’ and more ‘you’? Meet our new Alfred Angelo wedding suits for the bride
Why choose wedding suits for the bride?
There are plenty of reasons to choose bridal suits over bridal gowns. Pant suits tend to keep you cooler, take up less space in the back of the limo, and probably even have POCKETS. (Can you imagine anything more convenient?) Not to mention, white or ivory pant suits are timelessly stylish.
Bridal suits have “Moves like Jagger”—Bianca Jagger, that is!
Several celebrities have styled wedding suits for the bride over the years. Possibly the most famous is Marilyn Monroe
in her wedding to Jo DiMaggio in 1954. She donned a fur-collared brown suit for their city hall ceremony. As far as white bridal suits, Ellen DeGeneres
sported one in her wedding to Portia de Rossi. Other famous brides who wore skirt suits are Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker’s character in the Sex and the City movie, Mia Farrow in her marriage to Frank Sinatra, and Bianca Jagger, who married the Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger in 1971.
Meet mix-and-match bridal suits by Alfred Angelo.
We’ve recently added four Alfred Angelo pieces to our bridal section to appeal to brides seeking an unconventional look. With two pants and two jacket-camisole sets to choose from, you can create four different wedding suits for the bride. Not only are you able to mix-and-match the Alfred Angelo pieces, but you can also layer a jacket over a simple wedding dress to create a lovely skirt suit look!
We want your opinion! Are bridal suits a ‘do’ or a ‘don’t’?
