No doubt, planning for a wedding creates a lot of wedding stress. I personally have felt tugged in tons of different directions among unsupportive family members, financial constraints, and the ever-present need to want to please everyone. It’s super easy to slack off and forget to take care of yourself. However, it’s more important now than ever to dedicate ample time to ensure you are a happy and healthy bride. Are you trying to lose weight for your wedding with crash diets and extreme workouts? Relax, and remember to take care of yourself! For me, it has been all about going back to the basics:

3 easy ways to reduce wedding stress and lose weight for your wedding.
1. Drink plenty of water and get your 8 hours in!
Keeping your body hydrated and rested will help give you an awesome glow that you want on your wedding day. I have also been trying to cut back on drinking alcohol, sugary drinks, and coffee creamer-- all of these little changes start to add up! Losing weight for a wedding
doesn’t require crash diets and extreme sacrifices I’d rather eat my calories than drink them (but I do love an ice cold Coke every once in a while!!).
2. Eat the bad stuff in moderation.
I am a carb queen. I love me some mac and cheese, and I can throw down some cookie dough like a crazy person. Cutting back on these indulgences and limiting them to only a few times a week is super important when trying to lose weight for your big day
(and it also lets you savor your indulgences that much more!). Try and load up on your fruits, veggies, and lean proteins. Limit your carbs and dairy, and you’ll be able to squeeze right into that wedding dress! Pinterest
is the perfect resource for smoothie recipes and healthy dinner ideas. I swear – once you clean up your diet, you won’t crave the bad stuff anymore. A healthy outside starts on the inside!
3. Begin your bridal workout plan.
Exercise is one of the best wedding stress relievers
that you’ll be able to find, and it’s also the perfect “me” time. If you’re not big on gyms, go for a walk with your fiancé, or even play catch together! YouTube some strength training videos and work out together. You’ll find that you will have so much more energy if you up your activity frequency and stick to a fun bridal workout plan. I’m definitely not a health expert, but these tips are helping me lead a healthier, happier lifestyle. They’re also reducing my wedding stress and keeping me focused on what this is all about. Best of luck, and I hope you find a formula that works well for you! Plan on – Dani
