Wedding Shoppe, Inc. truly can be your "One Stop Wedding Shoppe" when looking for designer bridal gowns, no matter where you're from.

From Pamela:

Every woman dreams of her wedding dress. Of finding the most perfect one--the one that will make her look and feel beautiful. The one that will take everyone’s breath away and, most importantly, will take his breath away. I had this image of what I would look like on my wedding day, and what designer I wanted, and how I wanted my dress to fit. I tried on a gazillion Maggie Sottero designs. I loved her designs on paper; on me they just didn’t seem to work. I was at my fourth dress shop, ironically, in Boone, North Carolina. It’s ironic because this is where my husband and I grew our friendship, our dating relationship, and our engagement into the marriage we have today. It was just my mom and me shopping that day. I tried on some Maggies and entertained a few other designers, hunting for deals, rummaging through the racks. I overlooked my Joli Bridal gown at least four times before I decided to try it on. I confess that I did not have that moment of epiphany, that "a-ha!" moment of “This is it!” And I also confess, that’s what I was looking for. I just felt like none of the dresses were me. I felt as if I would never find the dress that would make me feel fabulous, and make Casey’s jaw drop to the floor. I tried on my Joli dress and took it off, dejectedly, just as I had done with all the others. Right before mom and I left the store that day, I tried it on again. It’s almost as if someone cleared my vision, because then I saw it: I saw a dress I could picture myself in, walking down the aisle toward my love.

I did not purchase it right away, still thinking I wanted a Maggie Sottero dress. In the weeks that followed, my mom and I kept looking at that one Joli Bridal dress online. I kept thinking, "Is this it?" We searched out the dress online and where we could purchase it without travelling back to Boone. I wanted my sisters to see it in person, but neither of them lived in Charlotte, and I didn't know what to do. Finally, in our web surfing, we found the dress at The Wedding Shoppe…in Minnesota. This also is ironic because my husband grew up in Minnesota. Perfect, right? I found my dress where we met, bought my dress where he is from, and would get married in the dress in the place where we would start our life together. I knew this was the dress. The material, the folds, the twists, the detailing, the subtle lace, the satin. So we bought it from The Wedding Shoppe. My dress came, and after multiple alterations, it fit just how I wanted it to. I also got my crystal and rhinestone headband (for the perfect amount of sparkle) from The Wedding Shoppe, as well as my veil: a simple, short, two-layer veil with a satin trim.

I searched for the perfect hairstyle, the perfect makeup, the perfect shoes, and the perfect jewelry to go with my perfect dress. Deep down, every girl—no matter her culture, her personality, or her interests—wants to look stunning on her wedding day. I feel like I did, because when I walked through the doors of that chapel, my husband had tears in his eyes and love in his smile. It was a day better than we imagined and more amazing than we planned. And to share it with so many people, we felt truly blessed. We had a fabulous photography duo, Sassyfras Studios. They are so fantastic! We had our reception at Roof With a View in uptown Charlotte, overlooking the Charlotte skyline. Our ceremony was at St. Mary's Chapel, also in uptown Charlotte. It surpassed all we had dreamed, imagined, and expected. We had a wonderful honeymoon to follow and have had a wonderful four months since. I think we are even more in love than we were on our wedding day! designer wedding dresses
