Many customers ask, why not just buy a suit? For just $149, you can have a pants and jacket set shipped straight to you. There are many reasons why renting is often the better option for wedding parties. First, you avoid nested sets. That means your jacket and pants don’t have to be the same size, which results in a much better fit and less money spent on alterations. Buying suits also runs the risk of mismatched colors. Dye lots can never be predicted, so renting makes this worry disappear. All in all, renting means more flexibility in both style and fit! Can’t beat that, right?
The Best Fit Possible
How do we get you a great fit? First, our experts look at measurements a lot—like, all day. So they’ll notice if something seems a bit off. Then when you come in to pick up your look, our team requires you try everything on in-person. They’ll double-check fit and alter sleeves and pants for FREE while you wait! What about those shoes? We keep our shoes in-house so you can try on a variety of sizes until you find the perfect pair.
1. Pick your styles.
We need to receive your measurements at least 8 weeks before the big day, but we highly recommend picking out your men’s formal wear as soon as the ladies’ attire is finalized. When a trend takes off, it really takes off. If that slate blue suit or tweed tie is all you want, guarantee you get it by placing your orders in advance!
2. Send in your measurements.
The Wedding Shoppe is happy to take your measurements, but you can also get them done at any formal wear store. Formal wear stores are usually a better choice for rental measurements than a custom tailor. 3. Pick up and try on.
We recommend you come in 2 days prior so you can try on your attire and double-check fit. We’ll take care of those complimentary alterations while you wait!
4. Return within 2 days of your event.
You must return your attire no later than 2 days after your event. Simply drop them off at the Shoppe and we’ll take care of the rest!
