Gown Preservation: Following your wedding, do not hang your wedding gown in a closet. Research has shown that without proper care, your gown can discolor and may collect mold or mildew.
- The Wedding Shoppe works with a company that has specialized in bridal gown preservation since 1913.
- Pick-up a preservation kit at The Wedding Shoppe. The kit includes information, materials and pre-paid shipping to send your gown to be professionally preserved.
- Your gown is cleaned with an anti-sugar treatment, a vital step in the process of preventing yellowing due to sugar staining.
- Your gown will be professionally steamed and shaped to show off its best qualities, then shipped back to you in a box ready for viewing by friends and family.

Custom Fitting Department: Expert alterations for our garments are available on full service merchandise. Our Custom Fitting house located at 1201 Grand Avenue, across the street from the main store. We recommend scheduling your first fitting at least 8 - 12 weeks prior to your wedding date.
- Alterations are not included in the price of the merchandise and are available for an extra charge (Excluding tuxedo rentals).
- Before alterations can start, you must have shoes, slip, and any undergarments you will be wearing with your dress. Our store carries all this merchandise.
- The custom fitting department is open during regular business hours. Appointments on Monday evening, Thursday evening or Saturday should be made well ahead. These times are very busy and appointments book up early.
- After your final fitting, it is important you make a final steam/press pick-up appointment Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, usually the week of the wedding.
Shoe Dyeing: We offer custom shoe dyeing from a large selection of shoes in our store.
