Enzoani Bridal Gown Fairy

Last prom season I purchased a dress from the Wedding Shoppe, and I could not have been happier with my experience! When you walk into the store your are immediately greeted by their friendly staff, all of who are more than happy to assist you in finding a dress for your occasion. I was able to describe what I wanted to the saleswoman and within an hour she had helped me find the perfect dress! The dress I found however was not in my size or the color that I wished to have it in, but the Wedding Shoppe was more than happy to order it for me and had it shipped to the store in time for my prom! Once I had my dress I did not have to worry about searching every store in town to find shoes and accessories to match, because the Wedding Shoppe has them all right there in their store! I found a pair of shoes that I loved, but they only came in white, and my dress was orange. So the staff at the Wedding Shoppe dyed the shoes for a small cost to match my dress perfectly. I was also assisted in finding a pair of beautiful earrings and a bag to match my dress, which were both very reasonably priced! The Wedding Shoppe made my search for a prom dress extremely easy, and the staff really puts time into your search and makes you feel special. My time in the Shoppe was enjoyable, and I cant wait to go back this year to find another beautiful dress!

Matt and I have been dating since 2008 and he popped the question on our spring trip to San Francisco. We're pretty outdoorsy, so on a hike we stopped on a cliff overlooking the San Franscio Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean. We were chatting about how wonderful the trip had been (this was at the end of it) he said he could think of one thing that would make it more memorable. Completely to my surprise, he then got down on one knee and with that gorgeous backdrop asked me to marry him. (I'm getting all giddy again just writing this to you!) In keeping with our loves of travel and the outdoors, we've decided to a destination wedding to Puerto Vallarta with the wedding day falling on April 1 (no joke!). We're going to a small all-inclusive resort called Playa Fiesta. We've been to a wedding there before and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone planning a destination wedding. We will have about 60 of our family and friends there along with the pastor from the church I grew up in performing a traditional ceremony. Destination weddings are the way to go! We hardly have to do any planning and so far the most "stressful" part has been picking the green color of my shoes (from The Wedding Shoppe!) to match our invitation. Bright apple/lime green and aqua are the main colors we're using.

I’ve often heard people say that their wedding day was the best day of their life. I didn’t believe it until our big day finally came. March 12, 2010: The proposal came unexpectedly. Completely. My family flew out to Palm Springs, California for a week-long family vacation of golfing, tanning and relaxing. My then-boyfriend Josh met us out there and (to make a long story short) popped the big question overlooking the beautiful Shadow Ridge Golf Course within hours of our arrival. The next day, since Josh and I (crazily) decided to plan our wedding for August 2010, the planning began. Our vacation turned into one big wedding planning festival. My poor dad hung in there with my mom and I as we immediately started compiling the guest list, possible venue choices, photographers, caterers, florists… and on and on. Overwhelming to say the least. My life became a constant blur of color schemes, budget sheets, wedding gowns and cupcakes. I remember somewhere in the midst of all the craziness telling one of my bridesmaids that “anyone who says that this wedding planning stuff is fun, is seriously delusional.” Then, I found it. “THE DRESS.” The moment where your breath catches and you know that you found the dress you’ll be wearing when you promise to spend the rest of your life with the man you love more than anything in the world. It’s indescribable. When the woman helping me at The Wedding Shoppe saw the look on my face, she knew. I turned to her and said, “Do I pay now or later?” And that was it. August 6, 2010: Our wedding day. The whole day came and went like a flash of lightning. It was short but spectacular. Walking down the aisle, I felt the presence of everyone I love, standing up for Josh and I, supporting us as we made the ultimate commitment to each other. And in that one moment, when we looked at each other, the world stopped for us. Just for a minute, one incredible minute.
