The Wedding Shoppe is everything that a Twin Cities bride could ask for! It’s located in a beautiful spot on Grand Avenue, has a huge selection of gowns and accessories, and has wonderful service. Their staff is genuinely interested in your big day and what you want to look like as a bride. If you make an appointment you are checked in promptly and they let you know exactly what to bring to each appointment. I got married in April this year and can honestly say I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my entire life…thanks in large part to my dress ? I really liked the fact that while I was trying on dresses I never felt rushed and the salesperson thoughtfully suggested different styles based on what I liked. When I finally found my perfect dress they gave me all the time I wanted with my Mom and Maid of Honor to cry and enjoy the moment. After the fabulous experience I had picking out my dress at the Wedding Shoppe I came back for my veil, bridesmaid dresses, and the tuxedos. Matt and I have been dating since 2008 and he popped the question on our spring trip to San Francisco. We're pretty outdoorsy, so on a hike we stopped on a cliff overlooking the San Franscio Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean. We were chatting about how wonderful the trip had been (this was at the end of it) he said he could think of one thing that would make it more memorable. Completely to my surprise, he then got down on one knee and with that gorgeous backdrop asked me to marry him. (I'm getting all giddy again just writing this to you!) In keeping with our loves of travel and the outdoors, we've decided to a destination wedding to Puerto Vallarta with the wedding day falling on April 1 (no joke!). We're going to a small all-inclusive resort called Playa Fiesta. We've been to a wedding there before and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone planning a destination wedding. We will have about 60 of our family and friends there along with the pastor from the church I grew up in performing a traditional ceremony. Destination weddings are the way to go! We hardly have to do any planning and so far the most "stressful" part has been picking the green color of my shoes (from The Wedding Shoppe!) to match our invitation. Bright apple/lime green and aqua are the main colors we're using.

88 days and counting. I arrived at the Wedding Shoppe determined to find the one. Just twenty days earlier on June 9th, my now fiancé Eric had dropped to one knee and popped the question. In love and ready, we decided a year of planning was not for us; we picked the date, September 24, 2010. As romantic as it seemed we quickly realized there was much to do and not much time to do it. At the top of the list was my wedding dress. I knew that I was well beyond the traditional timeline for ordering a dress and off-the-rack would be my only option. I called the Wedding Shoppe, made my appointment, and hoped for the best. Before I knew it I was with my mom and sister at the Wedding Shoppe. To my surprise, Eric had also been there that day. When I checked in, I was given a bridal bouquet of pink peonies and told Eric had dropped them off. Peonies are my favorite flower and he knew that I would have had them as our wedding flower if they weren’t out of season in the fall. If we couldn’t have them for our wedding he thought I should at least have them while I tried on dresses. The appointment was off to a great start. I had always had it in my head that I would buy a lace trumpet style gown, but once I started trying dresses on I felt like I had already seen that look and I quickly realized I wanted something different, something unique. As I was telling the consultant this, she goes, “That’s perfect, because I just pulled a dress that I think you’re going to love. It’s really different.” It was perfect. It was romantic, flowy, and had the most beautiful detail of petals on the skirt. It was the one. And the best part, I got to take it home with me. 88 days later I put on a dress that was more than I ever could have imagined and walked down the aisle to Eric – all in an off-the-rack dress.

Hi, my name is Christy Hollingsworth, (married name is now Christy Strom, but I’m still getting used to that!) and I married my Aaron on September 25, 2010. I call him “my Aaron” because I have a sister who is also named Erin and because no one ever knows who I am talking about I differentiate between the two by “my Aaron” and “sister Aaron”. I purchased my dress a little over a year before our wedding date. I had found it in a magazine and called all over MN to find a store that had it on stock and no one did. I’ve heard the reputation that the Wedding Shoppe has and really wanted to do business with there so after trying on a few dresses to no avail, I brought in the picture of the one I had found in the magazine. They found a similar dress by the same designer so I was able to see if the shape and look worked for me and after a lot of thinking, I ordered the dress without even trying it on. I loved the picture so much so I just prayed I would love it on me as well! It came in and it magically fit me the way I had hoped. I didn’t really think too much about the dress after that until I was being fitted because I wasn’t too thrilled with the way the bustle looked. It seemed to take away the look of the dress because the train wasn’t very long to begin with and with the bustle it looked like a straight up and down dress with no flare at the bottom. I decided not to bustle it because of that, but I admit I was a little worried that I wasn’t as in love with the dress as I was to begin with. All of that changed though on the wedding day, putting everything together from the shoes to the jewelry to the veil, it was PERFECT. I have never felt more beautiful in my life! I wore my dress with pride that day and think I love it even more now than I did in the beginning. I had so many compliments on how it suited ME and my personality so I think I can say I know myself pretty darn well to be able to order my wedding dress without even trying it on! We had a fabulous celebration and the look on Aaron’s face when we first saw each other is something I will never forget. His tears of happiness and love will forever be a favorite memory of our wedding day. To order any products online, simply place a product or multiple products in your shopping bag and follow the checkout directions. Once your order is placed, you will receive multiple notifications guiding you through the process.   The Ordering Process  

Estimated Ship Time
All wedding apparel is made as ordered and therefore has a longer estimated ship time than ready-to-wear merchandise. Please check the Est. Ship Time at the top of each product page, as this will vary depending on the designer and product type.

Order Acceptance
Once we receive your order it will be sent to the designer where it is accepted or rejected depending on product availability and your event date. It is important to provide the actual event date so we can ensure acceptance and delivery from the designer within a reasonable amount of time before your event. Once the Order is accepted by the designer the merchandise is immediately put into production and cannot be changed or cancelled.

Rush Cuts and Quick Delivery
Rush Cuts are available on select merchandise at an additional cost. This is when a designer puts priority on your order and produces it ahead of orders with standard production time. Rush Cuts are sometimes available at different speeds and price points; these are called Super Rush Cuts or Quick Delivery.

Quick Delivery is also available on select merchandise and is similar to a Rush Cut. Quick Delivery is often faster than Rush Cuts because the manufacturer has the product already made and ready to be shipped to the seller. Quick Delivery items can be found in our Quick Delivery section and are generally higher priced than their standard production counterparts.

Shipping
Wedding Shoppe Inc. offers shipping to almost anywhere in the world. Once the order is received, inspected and accepted, it is shipped to the shipping address provided. All shipments require a signature upon delivery.

Shipping and Handling
We ship to almost any address in the world. Once your order is placed with the designer, it will take approximately 10 to16 weeks for delivery of bridal gowns and bridal party apparel. Please allow approximately 2 to 6 weeks for delivery of accessories. 

If your order is needed prior to a date within the designer's normal delivery time frame, rush cut and/or rush shipping charges may be applicable (see individual product pages for specific details). If you have any questions regarding delivery times, please contact us, at info@weddingshoppeinc.com

Matching Dye Lots for Bridesmaid Dresses
To ensure color-matching between multiple bridesmaid dresses, you must order the same dress style and color and order the dresses all at once.

*For example, if you have five bridesmaids in your wedding party, select the style of dress, size and any other ordering information for each bridesmaid. Once all the dresses are in your shopping cart, follow the checkout instructions until your order is complete. If each bridesmaid dress is ordered separately, the designer cannot guarantee a dye lot match.

Dress Colors and Swatches
Due to differences in computer monitors and display settings, the product images and color charts that you view online may vary from the actual product colors and color swatches. Colors also vary from designer to designer. Colors with the same name that are available through multiple designers will not have an exact dye lot match. For example, an Alfred Angelo Claret dress does not perfectly match a Mori Lee Claret dress. Similarly, different style dresses from the same designer may not have an exact dye lot match as they are cut from a different bolt of fabric.

Some dresses are all one color, while others have a different color trim, lace, sash, belt, or liner. Please verify your color selection before placing an order, as we are not liable for mistaken color selections.

Size Selection

  Apparel Alterations  
 
When ordering wedding apparel, alterations are almost always necessary. For your convenience, Weddingshoppeinc.com provides a Vendor Locator featuring hundreds of seamstresses all over the country who will assist you in perfecting the fit of your dress.
  International Orders 
 
Most of the designers carried by Wedding Shoppe Inc. can be sold to anyone in the world, however some of our designers set restrictions on to whom we can sell and ship to. Any product without an International Order tab cannot be sold to customer outside the United States of America.
 

  International Shipping 
 
Wedding Shoppe Inc. offers shipping to almost anywhere in the world. Once the order is received, inspected and accepted, it is shipped to the shipping address provided. All shipments require a signature upon delivery and international shipments may have additional taxes and fees added by the country they are shipped to, in addition to the shipping charges paid to Wedding Shoppe Inc. These include but are not limited to, customs fees, excise taxes, brokerage fees and import duties. The customer is responsible for paying all such additional charges. They are also responsible for ensuring that the products ordered may be legally shipping into the destination country. We are not responsible for any shipments that are seized, confiscated or destroyed by government authorities in connection with an international shipment.
