To all the beautiful girls from The Wedding Shoppe, I bought my wedding dress online last year from the wedding shoppe and just want to thank all the girls for making the whole process so pleasant and easy. My online consultant was Angi and she was so beautiful and patient with all my questions. Honestly, at that time i wasn't sure if buying a wedding dress online is a good idea; but trust me, when i received my dress i was over the moon, the quality of the dress is amazing. Buying my dress from you guys is one of the best decisions i've made. Never in my life, did I ever imagine that I would be so blessed to have such an incredible wedding. Long ago, like many other little girls, I would put a pillow case veil on my head, or walk my barbie down a pretend aisle and envision my perfect fairytale wedding. After meeting Scott, the handsome and affectionate love of my life, those hopes and dreams finally become a reality as we began to plan our wedding day. As amazing as it was, all of the dreaming could never come close to the incredible wedding we had on August 28, 2010. Everything was perfect. From the dress, to the flowers, the invitations and the location. It was without a doubt, the best day of my life. Looking back, the thing that made it so perfect, so incredible, wasn't the dress, or the flowers, or anything else related. Our wedding was perfect because of the people that shared it with us. Our family and friends, were the one thing that made it better than anything I could ever have dreamed of. I am so grateful to all the people who played a part in making our wedding so truly perfect. Dress: I went to The Wedding Shoppe just a few days after getting engaged to try on dresses for fun with absolutely no intention of choosing anything. I fell in love with the fifth dress I tried on and just like everyone says, I knew it was the one. Veil: Since my dress was on the more simple side, I wanted a veil that added some drama and sparkle. I found a cathedral length veil with rhinestone trim at the wedding shoppe. It also had a blusher, which I didn't love, so the wedding shoppe removed it and added a comb to make a second veil. My mom then added rhinestone trim to the edges and I wore it as a shorter version of the Cathedral length veil for the reception. Headpiece: I loved all the big floral headpieces I would see but couldn't seem to find one that matched my dress. The wedding shoppe took fabric from my hemmed dress and made a custom flower with a vintage rhinestone center. It was absolutely perfect Location: The Union Depot, St Paul Minnesota. We absolutely loved the Union Depot. It was classic and elegant, and the food was incredible. The wedding coordinator Georgia was amazing to work with and made everything so easy for us. Favors: My favorite beverage has always been Diet Coke and a few years ago, Scott, my husband got a job with Coca-Cola. For our place cards we attached names to old fashioned bottles of diet coke with a story about our love for Coke on the back! It was so fun. Flowers: I wanted lots of color, and Carra Otten, of Le Petit Fleur did an AMAZING job. She was so easy to work with and had incredible ideas and style. Photography: Erin Johnson Photography. We had so much fun working with Erin! She has such great ideas and moves at record pace. The photos she took are incredible and we are so happy we went with her! Videographer: Jeffrey Fuchs | Northern Lights Video. We weren't sure if we were going to hire a videographer, but I am so glad we did. Jeff was very easy to work with and very professional, we hardly even noticed he was there the day of our wedding. His work is amazing and he was able to capture so much emotion from the day of our wedding. We loved him!

Hi, my name is Christy Hollingsworth, (married name is now Christy Strom, but I’m still getting used to that!) and I married my Aaron on September 25, 2010. I call him “my Aaron” because I have a sister who is also named Erin and because no one ever knows who I am talking about I differentiate between the two by “my Aaron” and “sister Aaron”. I purchased my dress a little over a year before our wedding date. I had found it in a magazine and called all over MN to find a store that had it on stock and no one did. I’ve heard the reputation that the Wedding Shoppe has and really wanted to do business with there so after trying on a few dresses to no avail, I brought in the picture of the one I had found in the magazine. They found a similar dress by the same designer so I was able to see if the shape and look worked for me and after a lot of thinking, I ordered the dress without even trying it on. I loved the picture so much so I just prayed I would love it on me as well! It came in and it magically fit me the way I had hoped. I didn’t really think too much about the dress after that until I was being fitted because I wasn’t too thrilled with the way the bustle looked. It seemed to take away the look of the dress because the train wasn’t very long to begin with and with the bustle it looked like a straight up and down dress with no flare at the bottom. I decided not to bustle it because of that, but I admit I was a little worried that I wasn’t as in love with the dress as I was to begin with. All of that changed though on the wedding day, putting everything together from the shoes to the jewelry to the veil, it was PERFECT. I have never felt more beautiful in my life! I wore my dress with pride that day and think I love it even more now than I did in the beginning. I had so many compliments on how it suited ME and my personality so I think I can say I know myself pretty darn well to be able to order my wedding dress without even trying it on! We had a fabulous celebration and the look on Aaron’s face when we first saw each other is something I will never forget. His tears of happiness and love will forever be a favorite memory of our wedding day.
