Now that the wedding is getting closer all of the big stuff is planned but I am enjoying finalizing all of the little details. Be sure to leave yourself enough time to enjoy all of these little details without getting stressed about a time crunch! This week I’m working on finishing our favors which I’m pretty excited about. We wanted to do something fun but simple because favors can get expensive very quickly. I printed all of my own invitations (with my Mom’s help) and bought matching place cards, programs, and favor boxes. This was a great way to save money and if you have the time to format everything it looks really professional. I found mine at Michael’s but I am sure that other craft stores carry similar packages. The favor boxes are fairly easy to put together and it won’t take too much time if you are having a small to medium sized wedding. While I was in Las Vegas I went to the M&M store and bought M&M’s in all of the bright colors that will be in my bouquet.

After telling the story of how I got engaged and where we are getting married, I’m going to talk about how I found my perfect dress! I wasn’t a girl who grew up dreaming of a huge princess dress so I really had no idea what I wanted in a wedding dress. I started by grabbing a ton of wedding magazines and browsing through all of the different dress pictures. This really helped me narrow down some of my favorite dress styles and designers. After that I went online to look up the different designer’s websites so I could see more of their collections. I had a few ideas in mind but knew there were a lot of wedding dress stores in town.
The movie The Wedding Date is a wonderful romantic-comedy featuring Debra Messing and Amy Adams; the male star of The Wedding Date is the handsome and witty Dermot Mulroney. The plot of the movie The Wedding Date revolves around a character played by Debra Messing, who brings a male escort, played by Dermot Mulroney, as her guest to her sister’s wedding, who is played by Amy Adams. The cast of The Wedding Date executes a fun and lighthearted movie completed by a memorable wedding and stylish wedding looks including The Wedding Date wedding dress and sophisticated bridesmaid dresses.

This is my first blog and it’s officially 5 weeks until the big day which is super exciting! I’ll be getting married on April 10th, 2010 in St. Paul MN. My fiancé and I met in college while hiding out in a mutual friend’s dorm room from our horrible freshmen room mates. I made fun of his sweatshirt and we started dating shortly after. He proposed in Rice Park on August 15th, 2008 which was the happiest night of my life.
